Research

FMHI is the largest behavioral health services research center in the United States. The Institute conducts applied research to improve services and outcomes for individuals with mental, addictive, and developmental disorders. So far in 2011-12, FMHI has received $21.6 million in new external funding to support new research and training projects. Many of our research reports are available to the public through online or print publications. FMHI's efforts are supported through a variety of grants, contracts, and state funding.
