Dr. Lisa Cooper to Deliver Inaugural FMHI Distinguished Lecture
Dr. Lisa Cooper, Professor of Medicine and Public Health at Johns Hopkins University, delivered the inaugural FMHI Distinguished Lecture on March 25th, 2008. Her lecture was entitled "Race, Ethnicity, and Gender: Lessons for Culturally Appropriate Care Models for Depression." Dr. Cooper is known internationally for her research on health disparities and improving medical outcomes for minorities in the United States.
