The Louis de la Parte Institute welcomes the second "3 I's" Distinguished Lecturer:
Martha L. Bruce, PH.D., M.P.H., who is Professor and Associate Vice-Chair for
Research from the Department of Psychiatry at Weill medical College of Cornell
University.
Dr. Bruce is a renowned mental health services researcher who has had several NIH grants, including community engaged scholarship as Principal Investigator of an NIMH-funded Interventions and Practice Research Infrastructure Program award (R24). Dr. Bruce is also an exceptional mentor and is funded by NIMH as PI of an Advanced Research Institute in Geriatric Psychiatry. Currently, Dr. Bruce chairs the NIMH Services Research Review Group (SRV; now SRNS) and is incoming chair of the Board of Directors of the Geriatric Mental Health Foundation. She also serves on the National Advisory Committee for the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation's Health and Society Scholar's Program.
