USF Visitor Parking
Click here for detailed parking information. Visitors have several options for obtaining parking permits. Effective August 1st, 2006, daily permits are $4.00 per day and are available at the Parking Services Building, or Campus Information Center. These hang-tags are validated by scratching off the current date; you may purchase as many days as needed for your visit at one time.
Occasional visitors may obtain a free courtesy permit (up to 3 times per semester) good only in the remote Park-n-Ride (Y) lots, and then utilize the fare-free Campus Bull-Runner shuttle busses to travel around campus.
Frequent visitors may wish to purchase a monthly scratch-off permit for $43 (plus tax), available at Parking Services or Campus Information Center.
Finally, for those familiar with the campus, convenient daily permit vending machines are located at or near most visitor lots. These machines will accept bills & all types of coins, but unfortunately do not issue change.
Institute Parking
A visitor parking pass allows parking near the Institute in the lot located on the corner of Bruce B. Downs and Fletcher Avenue (38C) or on the grass lot on the east side of the main building (38T) (see Institute site map). Permit vending machines are located in lot 38C and require correct change or currency.
USF Parking and Shuttle Service Information
You can get to the Institute using USF's Shuttle Service. The Institute is located in the building labeled MHC. The Westside Conference Center is located at MHA. Shuttle B drops you off at Westside (MHA). Shuttles D and E stop at Holly Drive and Cypress (about 1 block from Westside). Only Route B connects to Parking Lot 43, which is the closest free Visitor Parking lot.
